Detox
The Roque Center provides residential, social model (non-medical) detoxification services for adult men and women in need of services. All services provided are non-discriminatory in terms of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, sexual orientation or ability to pay.
Our program is designed to assist and monitor individuals in need of withdrawal from the effects alcohol intoxication and/or other drugs. Services are provided in a clean, supportive, and calm environment while facilitated and monitored by experienced and caring staff who are knowledgeable and trained in the recognition and implications of the withdrawal symptoms of alcohol and other drugs of abuse. Medical back-up and referral to medical services are available on demand.
Some of our detox beds are partly funded through a contract with the County of Orange Health Care Agency Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services. We also have affordable private pay beds available for immediate admission.

In addition to closely monitoring all participants with emphasis on bed rest the nutritional needs of our clients, one to one counseling is provided along with a minimum of two (2) structured group activities, consisting of a mix of films, tapes, lecture and group discussion. (Attendance subject to those well enough to participate)
Referral services for the continuum of recovery services, medical needs, housing, social services, etc., is provided to all participants.
